Coming soon: Monelle & Chris’ Wedding
Posted on September 2, 2010
One word for this wedding: Incredible. Or maybe Amazing. No wait, Awesome.
That was way more than just one word, but that’s just how Monelle and Chris’ Wedding was great!
Keeping with the “modern vintage” theme this wedding had, here is a preview of what is to come!

Darleen’s baby bump! – Moncton Portrait Photographer
Posted on August 30, 2010
It’s always fun to see clients return to me to shoot another special part of their lives. Darleen and Joey’s wedding was last summer and when she got pregnant, she contacted me to document this miracle of life.
When I was thinking about the shoot, I had a vision in mind. I could imagine Darleen with her great smile and bright blue eyes and immediately pictured her in a golden field with tall grass. Great, the idea for the shoot was done. Now the challenge was to find this golden field with tall grass!
After thinking for a bit, I remembered a shoot of a couple in a field by Jill of Scuffed Boots Photography. Jill and I have been talking on Facebook for a while now and always wanted to get together and talk business or even shoot together. I contacted her about the field location and asked her to join along. She was very kind to bring us to this amazing location which you will see in the photos. We also had to reschedule the shoot a few times and I want to thank her for her patience! She was also a great help that day, helping me with ideas and posing the couple. Jill is an amazing photographer and I invite you to check out her blog. Click here to view a sample of shots she took that day!
Now here are a few of my favourites!

Engaged: Renelle & Steve – Moncton Wedding Photographer
Posted on August 30, 2010
It’s the way he smiles at her and the way she smiles back. You know these two are in love and it definitely showed during their engagement session.
I met with Renelle and Steve this summer to discuss the details of their 2011 wedding and immediately knew I wanted to shoot their special day. I think it’s so important to feel that connection between the photographer and the couple to truly be able to capture the moments and to make the couple’s personality come out in the photos.
When Renelle and I were discussing possible locations for this session, she knew she wanted a location with lots of green. I was excited to hear this because green is my favourite color and I just love to shoot where there is lots of trees, leaves, etc. I then thought of a location I always wanted to go visit and scout out for possible future shoots. Because of my busy schedule, I was unable to visit the location before hand, but we took chance and it turned out beautiful. The light that evening was perfect and Renelle and Steve just knew how to work it in front of the camera!

Renelle has stunning blue eyes as you can see here!

Love love love the light in this picture!

I’ll end the post with this shot of Renelle and Steve, as it seems fitting.

Emilie & André’s Wedding – Moncton Wedding Photographer
Posted on August 27, 2010
I remember shooting Emilie and André’s engagement session last summer. How time flies by!
The day started early last Saturday with the girls getting ready at the Sereno salon. Everyone was excited for the big day to come while they were getting their hair and makeup done. Emilie sat quietly in the chair, not nervous at all! She knew her special day would go smoothly and it sure did. Even the weather cooperated with us, as it was supposed to rain and we saw nothing but sun and a few clouds here and there!

Following a quick change in her wonderful dress, it was time for the ceremony where André was waiting patiently for his bride to be.

Since the ceremony was in the morning, we had lots of time for the pictures. I think they turned out pretty awesome! The girls dresses were a pretty light yellow color. Perfect for that nice summer day!

I love how the wind caught in Emilie’s veil in this shot!

Once again, the reception location looked beautiful thanks to the team at Unico Decor. And let’s not forget the wonderful cake by The Cake Box, which was sooooo delicious!

And I will end this post with a romantic picture of the Bride and Groom’s first dance.
Congratulations to the couple! Best wishes for a happy life full of love!
Line & Stéphane’s Wedding – Moncton Wedding Photographer
Posted on August 10, 2010
Shooting Line and Stéphane’s wedding was the start of my second half of weddings for the 2010 season; and what a great start it was!
Line and Stéphane got married in Campbellton, so this was my first official “destination” wedding, even though it was only 4 hours away! When I arrived in Campbellton Friday night, I met with the couple to discuss the following day’s plans and to scout out locations for the portraits. We drove around town and found a few nice spots; I was really getting excited for their wedding! We made plans to meet early the next morning to start off their big day!
The day started at the Oasis Salon & Spa in Dalhousie with Line and her bridesmaids. If you are in the area, make sure you check them out! They did a great job with the hair and the aesthetician made sure everyone’s toes looked good!

Line getting “Something Blue” painted on her toenail!

We then went over to the bride and groom’s house for the final preparations…

The beautiful florals, made by Unico Decor.

This is why I just LOVE First Looks! It’s such a special moment when the groom gets to see his future bride for the first time.

It was then time for the ceremony to make things official. The ceremony was held at the reception location, which was beautifully decorated by Unico Decor.

I think someone is happy to be married!

Line wanted to make sure we get a “jump shot” with all of the bridal party. I’m glad we did!

It was then time for the couple’s photos. If you remember Line and Stéphane from their engagement session (click here), they were the most photogenic couple I have ever shot and their wedding day was no different!

LOOOOVE these next 2 shots!

When dinner time came along, we made our way back to the reception location for a wonderful dinner followed by a fun-filled reception!

Line made her own cake. Isn’t it just awesome!?

Line and Stéphane, I want to take the time to thank you for choosing me to be your photographer for your special day. I had a great time with you guys during your engagement session and your wedding day was no different. Your friends and family were just great to work with and I am so happy to have met you! I wish you the best of luck and a life full of love and happiness! xox
Family/Engagement shoot – Moncton Portrait Photographer
Posted on July 30, 2010
Last weekend, I actually had a weekend off with no wedding! That being said, my camera and I still had some shooting to do!
I shot a family/child/engagement session all in one! Elena contacted me to shoot her and Cheryl’s engagement session and while her son was in town with his daughter, we decided to include a few shots and do a family session. Elena’s daughter also joined in on the shoot.
Here are some of my favourites from that afternoon!
Elena’s son and granddaughter:

Elena’s daughter, Summer. So beautiful!

Mother and daughter

We then finished the session with some pictures of Elena and Cheryl…

Elena was inspired by this tree and it did make for an awesome shot!
