As 2009 has recently come to an end, I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very happy new year! May 2010 be a year for new beginnings, happiness, health and love. That being said, I thought it would be fun to make a review of 2009.
2009 has been a really interesting year on many levels for me. There were many ups and downs, both on a personal level and on the business side of things. I recently graduated from university, started my photography course at college, met new and interesting people, etc. All these experiences have brought me to where I am today. Never would have I imagined being where I am right now, as far as my business goes. I started my first year with one wedding and last year (2009), I shot 5 weddings as well as second-shot many others. For 2010, I have about 12 weddings planned and I am certain there will be numerous other sessions that I just can’t wait for! This would be a good time to thank all my clients, past, present and future, for all your kindness throughout my journey as a photographer. Thank you. And to all my blog readers/followers/stalkers (lol), thank you for visiting. It’s very encouraging when I go check my website statistics and see how many views and visits I get when putting up a new post. Also, thank you to all of those who have left me such wonderful comments, whether by email, on the blog or on Facebook. All of these mean so much and I am very grateful, as they truly do encourage me.
While I realize most (over 90%) of these images have already been blogged at one point throughout the year, I thought it would be nice to have them all in one post. I went through all my folders and picked a few images from each wedding and engagement session I shot this year. You will also find below some of my favourites from other sessions, whether they are a family session, maternity, new born, couple’s session, etc. I have also placed a few images I have shot for some of my school projects. It is possible that I have skipped a session. If so, I am truly sorry! It’s not because I did not love your photos… I just have so many folders on my computer and external hard drives, that I may have missed one or two! (I don’t think, but there is a possibility!)
Finally, I hope you have as much fun going through these images as I had shooting them!
Bring on 2010! 🙂
To new beginnings!
Philip

Lisa LeBlancI look at these pictures and cannot believe how such a great talent you have. I would like to thank you for all the things you’ve done for me in the past year, all the times that you helped me out with pictures from our wedding. You have grown so much as a photographer in the past couple of years and I am so proud of you. I often look at your site and can’t believe that my little brother has such a great talent.
