Jesika & Rob’s Wedding – Moncton Wedding Photographer

Jesika and Rob live in Alberta so we didn’t get a chance to talk alot before the wedding. I met with Jesika a few months before the wedding when she was down on vacation to get some details sorted out. I did get a feel that the day would be very laid back, stress free and just an overall good time with friends and family in a backyard setting. Little did I know that it would be complete with a short dress, Vans custom sneakers, a groom wearing shorts and an amazing location. Just when I thought the day couldn’t get any better, Jesika would mention another element of their special day and I would be amazed. This is why I shoot weddings, I told myself.

After leaving the salon and a short drive away (and getting lost for a little bit!) we arrived at Rob’s parent’s house. The property was just beautiful. Lots of trees, gardens with flowers, lots of space and I could go on. Everyone was working in the tent to get everything set up but the atmosphere was very relaxed. No one was running around all stressed out and that’s how a wedding day should be… just a celebration of love with friends and family. Jesika and Rob didn’t want to traditional wedding but it was perfect and so them. I was very pleased to see them pick elements that was really “them” and not going with what everyone else is doing these day. They even spent the whole day together… for them it was more important to be together with their son than to be hidden from each other for most of the day!

I could go on and on about how much I loved this wedding but I see that I have already written a lot! Jesika and Rob, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day and making me feel like I was part of the gang. Your wedding was soooo awesome and hats off to you guys for making it unique and very much “you”.
