Christine & Daniel’s Rodd Crowbush Beach Resort Wedding – PEI Photographer

Some things just happen for a reason and sometimes it’s for the best. Or at least I thought it ended up pretty well!

Last April, Christine and Daniel’s original venue suffered a tragic fire which destroyed the resort and therefore, they had to find a new venue. You can just imagine how stressful this must have been to try and find a new location that could accommodate not only their date, but also accommodations for their out of town guests and a seaside spot to get married. In the end, they moved their wedding day one day earlier and found a beautiful resort right on the water in PEI, the Rodd Crowbush Golf and Beach Resort.

As I made my way across the bridge that morning, I could only hope for a day without rain as the sky was a bit dark and grey. It would have been such a shame to move the planned outdoor ceremony to an indoor location. Especially since it was planned on a gorgeous beach in PEI! Throughout the day, I could not stop thinking (ok, and maybe saying out loud) how amazing the light was and how happy I was it was a bright overcast sky. The grounds and beach of the resort was the perfect backdrop for photos and I could not be any happier with how the day unfolded.

Congratulations Christine & Daniel on your beautiful wedding day. I hope it was everything you had imagined despite the stressful venue change only a few months before the big day!
