Moncton Photographer – Christine & Claude – Engaged

Sometimes, plans have to change quickly.

We were supposed to start off the session at the Irishtown Park in Moncton for part 1 of the session. As soon as we stepped out of our cars, we were swarmed by a bunch of black flies flying everywhere around us and even sticking to our cloths. I usually always have a can of bug spray in my camera bag but of course it wasn’t back in there (after taking it out for the winter). At that point we were going to suck it up and still shoot. However, every 30 seconds we had to swing our hands and arms in the air like crazy people. Not a very enjoyable (or romantic) way to spend an engagement session!

After a few minutes (literally), we took the decision to move onto our 2nd location in Grand-Barachois. I was hesitate to go so early, since I didn’t know how much that location would offer as far as backgrounds, etc. After a quick drive, we arrived to this bridge that has some meaning to both Christine and Claude. You see, she lived on one side while he lived on the other. So during the early start of their relationship, this was the bridge they would drive on every time they’d go visit each other. Cheesy, some may say, but it’s always nice when a couple chooses a location that is special to them, regardless of the reason.

We finished off the night at a nearby beach for some sunset shots. It was a gorgeous evening, interesting locations and a couple who worked it in front of the camera! Seriously, how beautiful is Christine?!

Sometimes, plans change for a reason.
