Josée & Jeff’s Wedding – Moncton Wedding Photographer

My last wedding was a special one, in the sense that most of the wedding party were people I have known for a long time. I knew we were going to have a great time and we sure did! Here’s the story of how me all met!

I remember when I was back in elementary school, in grade 1, when I met Jeff for the first time. Throughout elementary school, we hung out together every weekend. It continued trough high school and we even had a few classes when we were both doing our Business Degree at UdeM.
When I was in high school, I was in the student council and our room was a hang out place during breaks. Lots of people would gather there to chit chat between classes and that is where I met Josée! As the student council room was very close to the cafeteria, we had a head start on the line, so Josée gave me her 3$ along with her order everyday! Extra gravy, she said! 🙂 I would get her lunch and this lasted almost the whole year!
Most of the rest of the wedding party is also a group of people I know from school. It was fun to see them all again and spend the day together!

I have to mention that the wedding theme was black and white along with the 7 colors of the rainbow, hence, the 7 bridesmaids and groomsmen!

I started early last Friday morning at Josée’s parent’s house where all the girls were getting ready. There were 7 bridesmaids plus the bride, mother of the bride, etc. so the house was full! As Josée was getting ready, I took the time to shoot some details as well.

It’s always nice to work with Jason from Unico Decor as you know the decor and floral arrangements will be gorgeous!

Janice from Bella Promessa, a friend of Josée’s, was on hand to do the makeup as well as help Josée into her wonderful gown!

Here is a shot when Josée finally made it out all dressed up! I love how everyone was waiting in anticipation to see the lovely bride!

I also went over to the bride and groom’s house where all the guys were getting ready.

Josée and Jeff opted for a First Look before the ceremony. I think Jeff liked what he saw!

Following the ceremony, we had more time for pictures, so we headed out to Moncton High School for a few more bridal party shots and couple’s shots.

The ceremony was held at the Ramada Crystal Palace in Dieppe. Again, the team at Unico Decor made an excellent job with the decor. I tried my first panorama of a reception hall and I think it turned out pretty cool!

Following the first dance, Josée and a group of girls prepared a dance for the crowd. They all did a great job and it was really fun to watch!

Then, it was time to PARTY!

Josée and Jeff, I want to thank you for making me a part of your special day! I really had a great time and it was a lot of fun to see old friends again. I know you are both on your honeymoon right now and really wanted to see the pictures, so I stayed up extra late to post this! Enjoy your trip and we’ll talk soon! xox
