They say a rainy wedding day brings good luck. I’m sure Christie & Nick are tired of hearing this but hopefully for them it’s true!
When you are planning an outdoor wedding and it calls for a hurricane, plans have to change, and quickly. The few days leading up to the wedding was no easy task for them as they rushed to basically plan a whole new wedding at a new location. Luckily, an indoor venue was available and ready to accommodate them. The final decision for the ceremony location was only made that morning so Chrisite was working extra hard trying to make sure everyone was notified and didn’t show up at the wrong place! In the end, the day went as planned (with the obvious location change and indoor photos) up until the power went out about half an hour into the dancing. Another little bump in the road, but no problem. A generator soon arrived and the party went on. These are just a few of the struggles the couple were faced with. However, as cheesy as it sounds, they’ll be able to work through anything after all of this! In the end they are married ant that’s what’s important!
Here is a look into Christie and Nick’s rainy day wedding in Riverview at the Cocoa Room.
*Due to the rain on their wedding day, and as included in every package I offer, we shot an Aftershoot a few days ago so they could get nice outdoor photos as originally planned. That’s what I call my “Perfect Weather Guarantee”. More on that session later!
