One of the many things I love about my job is the people who I work for. I often get the chance to work with people I have known for a long time or family and friends of past clients. It’s always such a pleasure to reconnect with old friends and be a part of one of the biggest days of their lives.
In this case, it was a bit of both. I have known Melanie since high school. In fact, we were both in the student council when I was in grade 11. I also shot her sister’s wedding (Janelle & Alain) a few years ago. That meant I got to spend the day with an old friend and see her family once more on such a beautiful occasion.
Melanie & Andrew’s wedding day could be summed up in a few words. Fun and special are two words that come to mind. They are both children at heart; the proof was when they both skipped back up the aisle once they were pronounced husband and wife! You could also feel the love and special bonds they hold with their family and friends when everyone delivered such meaningful and eloquent speeches (and again, some more funny stuff!).
Congratulations to Melanie & Andrew! May your lives continue to be filled with fun and joy!
