It’s very rare that I show up to a wedding having met the couple only a few days before! Sophie and René live and work in the Northwest Territories so we booked everything over email. I don’t even think we talked on the phone! I was a bit nervous because I always like to meet the couple for a consultation before hand to make sure we are the right fit. Needless to say, as soon as we met it was like we had done so a while back. Come the wedding day, everyone was very friendly and the day went perfectly.

Sophie is from Memramcook so most of the day was spent there. The day started early with the girls getting ready at Sophie’s parent’s house. Sophie and Rene opted to see each other before the ceremony and had a first look at the Memramcook Institute, which is a perfect location for wedding photos. I also found a gorgeous location on the side of the street when I was driving over a few days before to meet the couple. Next, it was time for the ceremony. The couple chose to have a seaside outdoor ceremony in Shediac and the setting could not have been nicer. Finally, it was off to Memramcook again for the reception in a backyard tent. The food was great, the music was entertaining and the party was getting started! What a perfect ending to an already amazing day. Congratulations to the couple!
